The KP127XFQC is a highly integrated LED constant current driver control chip suitable for non-isolated step-down LED constant current power supplies with a full range of AC input voltages. The KP127XFQC employs a high-efficiency quasi-resonant operating mode, meeting high power factor (PF) and low total current regulation (THD) requirements. Internally, the KP127XFQC integrates a 500V high-voltage power MOSFET and a 650V high-voltage power supply circuit, enabling self-powering without a startup resistor. This also eliminates the need for traditional external VDD and COMP capacitors, reducing LED power supply production costs. The circuit operates in a quasi-resonant mode at the inductor current critical conduction point, employing high-precision current sampling technology and integrating a high-precision constant current control algorithm, achieving high constant current accuracy and excellent line voltage and load regulation. The KP127XFQC integrates multiple protection functions, including LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), and over-temperature protection (OTP), enhancing the safety and reliability of the LED power supply. The LED open-circuit protection voltage can be continuously set via the ROVP pin.
