GC2269 is a PWM control circuit integrated chip with the characteristics of low standby power consumption and low cost. It can be used in offline flyback converter applications. Under no-load or light-load conditions, the IC works in "intermittent mode" to reduce the loss of the application system and achieve the functions of low standby power consumption and high conversion efficiency.
VDD has low startup current and low operating current, which is helpful for the reliability design of GC2269 startup. A large resistor can be designed in the application circuit to divide the voltage to start the chip.
The slope compensation function is also designed inside, which improves the stability of large signals in the system. The GC2269 is also designed with protection modules, including over-current protection (OCP), over-load protection (OLP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), etc. The gate drive output voltage can reach up to 18V, which plays a role in protecting MOSFET. In addition, the GC2269 also has excellent EMI performance.
